A static IP address is an IP-address that is always the same. For instance, you can configure your PC's NIC to always request the same IP-address from your router. Usually in home networks DHCP is enabled by default and will hand out different addresses every time.
Show current IP-address in Windows
- Open cmd.exe (command prompt)
- Type in the command: ipconfig /all
The command prompt will print:
IPv4 on nykyinen IP-osoitteesi.
Ipconfig /all komennolla näet kaikki tiedot verkostasi.
Näytä nykyinen IP-osoite Unixilla ja muilla laitteilla
Terminaalissa tai komentorivillä anna komento
ifconfig
tulostuu IP-osoitteesi.
